Pravan has worked for the IFC since 2007. He is responsible for ICT investments in South Asia, including private equity investments in IT and Cleantech for the IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. IFC's cleantech investments in India include Azure Power, Applied Solar Technologies, Husk Power Systems and Attero Recycling. He has over 10 years of private equity, debt and investment banking experience. Prior to joining IFC, Pravan was a Principal with ORIX Venture Finance, a New York-based subsidiary of a Japanese financial services conglomerate. He has also worked with Metropolitan Venture Partners, a transatlantic venture capital fund in New York and London, and Global Bridge Ventures an emerging market focused venture capital fund in San Francisco. Pravan began his career in commercial and investment banking positions with Tokai Bank and BMO Nesbitt Burns in Chicago. Pravan is on the Board of Directors of Connectiva Systems, Inc. Pravan holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
