The Sankalp Africa Finalists who flew into Mumbai for the Sankalp Unconvention Summit 2014 came purposefully – over just three days, they made nearly twenty connections for partnering, collaborating, and knowledge-sharing. They have since returned home, re-energized with broader perspective and new collaborative opportunities.
Sankalp Volunteer program received a total of 149 applications from 16 countries. Out of these 62 were short-listed for an interview and finally 20 volunteers have been selected. The volunteer team comprises 7 entrepreneurs, 5 mid-career professionals, 6 post-graduates and 2 undergraduates from various backgrounds like social entrepreneurship, law, finance
